Chitra Javali wins 2016 Google PhD Fellowship in Computer Science

Chitra Javali, PhD student at NetSyS and CySPri Lab, School of CSE, has been awarded the highly competitive '2016 Google PhD Fellowship in Computer Science - Privacy and Security'. Chitra is pursuing PhD under the supervision of Prof. Sanjay Jha. 

Google offers the PhD fellowship to outstanding students doing exceptional research. This year Google awarded four fellowships throughout Australia in Computer Science, with only one in Privacy and Security category.

"Our PhD Fellows represent some the best and brightest young researchers around the globe in Computer Science and it is our ongoing goal to support them as they make their mark on the world" - Google.
